About the Film

Drawn Back Home is the story of the lengths we go to in order to find love, friendship, and family.

Eric Love is in a constant cycle of grief from the loss of his father and end of his marriage. Always the one to step in and help, he’s finding it harder and harder to be there for others when the world seems to have it out for him. Staying in his hometown of Caleb’s Hill has had it’s ups and downs as the residents are like family, but every day is a quest to make sure there’s food on the table. In a push to bring more business in, Eric starts making videos to show off the highlights of his hometown.

Drew Stanic ran from Caleb’s Hill a decade ago hoping that he could build a new life in a big city. Years later, he’s made some headway on his career and artistic passions, but no one’s really got him like his best friend back home. On a whim, Drew searches Eric on the internet and stumbles upon the videos he’s made to try and bring more tourists to their town. Driven by his hope for reconciliation and a work obligation, Drew returns to Caleb’s Hill to see if he can rebuild the friendship he lost.
